  1. Prepare For Hummus
  2. Take 1/2 cup Boiled Chickpeas(Kabuli chana)
  3. Get 2 tbsp +3 tbsp olive oil
  4. Prepare 4 tbsp sesame seeds
  5. Prepare 2/3 pods garlic
  6. Make ready 1/2 tsp paprika powder/red Chilli powder
  7. Make ready As per taste Salt
  8. Make ready 1/4 tsp roasted cumin powder
  9. Prepare 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  10. Take For Pita Bread
  11. Get 1/4 cup Lukewarm water
  12. Make ready 1/2 tsp sugar
  13. Get 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  14. Get 2 cups maida
  15. Make ready as per taste Salt
  16. Make ready 2 tsp butter
Steps to make Hummus and Pita Bread:
  1. First for making tahini paste roast the sesame seeds on the pan until their color changes a bit and they start popping.
  2. Now transfer roasted sesame seeds to the pan and grind them well. To that add the first 2 tbsp-olive oil. Use only olive oil for this recepie as this gives an amazing flavor to hummus.
  3. Now grind that well and our tahini paste is ready.
  4. Now to the tahini paste add 1/2 cup of boiled Chickpeas. You can use store-bought as well.
  5. Remaining 3 tbsp olive oil, salt, paprika/red Chilli powder, black pepper powder, and cumin powder and blend that well.
  6. Now when you blend it would not look too smooth. So add some water/ chickpea stock to make it smooth.
  7. Hummus is ready.
  8. For pita bread take lukewarm water, that added sugar, and dry yeast, and mix that well. Now let it activate for 15 mins.
  9. Yeast should be swollen after 15 mins. If it is don't proceed ahead in recepie.
  10. Now to that mixture add Maida and salt mix that well with yeast mixture. Take some more water for kneading dough. At least add some butter to the dough and mix it.
  11. Let the dough rise for 2&1/2 - 3 hours.
  12. After 3 hrs it should be doubled in size. Knead it for a while. Make its balls and roll it. After rolling keep it for 3rd proofing of 15 mins.
  13. After 15 mins cook the bread on Tawa until some brown spots appear on it. After cooking pita bread divide pita bread into 8 parts.
  14. Garnish hummus with olive oil and paprika and serve it with pita bread.
