  1. Get 3 slices wholemeal bread (preferably use 2-day old bread)
  2. Prepare 2 eggs
  3. Take 1/2 cup (125 ml) Nestlé full cream milk
  4. Take generous pinch of salt
  5. Prepare 2 tbsp butter
  6. Get 1 tsp sugar
  7. Prepare 1 cup (60 g) NESTUM® All Family Cereal Original
Instructions to make NESTUM ® French Toast:
  1. Cut each slice of bread into 2 halves, to make rectangles or triangles. Spread NESTUM® out on a small tray or shallow plate.
  2. Beat eggs, milk, salt and sugar together in a bowl. Dip 2 – 3 pieces of bread at a time into the egg mixture, allowing it to absorb as much of the liquid as possible.
  3. Meanwhile, heat a heavy-based non-stick frying pan over medium-low heat and melt a tablespoon of butter in the pan.
  4. Use a fork to lift the soaked bread out of the mixture and place it on the NESTUM®, patting it in gently to encourage the NESTUM® to adhere. Coat both sides.
  5. Fry French toast in the pan over low heat until golden brown and crunchy on both sides. Cook all the slices similarly. Serve warm with honey or jam.
