  8. Get 12 ounces steamed broccoli and cauliflower mix

Steps to make Ginger ale Sausage and Rice:
  1. Heat the oil and fry the rice
  2. When the rice starts to turn white add the ginger ale and 1 cup water. Bring to a simmer.
  3. Add the salt and saffron flowers. Note saffron flowers is different than the spice saffron. It's cheaper and not as flavorable as actual saffron.
  4. Stir well. Let boil for 10 minutes
  5. By now the rice should be low on liquids. Slice the sausage into 1 inch size. Add into the rice.
  6. Let it simmer stirring occasionally for 3-5 minutes.
  7. Add the second cup of water. Steam the broccoli and cauliflower.
  8. Add the broccoli and cauliflower after you steam 5 minutes.
  9. Stir in taste and adjust salt if need be.
  10. Cover and remove from heat. Let rest 15 minutes.
  11. Serve I hope you enjoy!!!

The taste is not anything like a ginger ale tasted more like Fresca. No one mentioned that the carbonation of this particular recipe will make a super mess. Homemade ginger ale is soothing for digestive disturbances and contains probiotics and enzymes. Ginger Ale Syrup: Ginger ale is tasty and good for upset tummys.
