  8. Similarly, scatter the tomatoes and basil over the eggs. Shake the pan or use a utensil to push the basil mostly below the surface of the egg.
  9. Place the pan in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, just until the surface of the egg is set.

To serve, cut frittata into wedges and garnish with remaining basil ribbons and freshly ground pepper.
